Vietnam Airlines is celebrating 20 years of direct flights between Germany and Vietnam. It is the only airline offering daily non-stop flights from Frankfurt to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Starting in fall 2024, flights from Munich will also be added to the schedule. This will further strengthen the airline’s presence in the German market.

Historical development of Vietnam Airlines

began its journey in 1956 with the establishment of the Civil Administration of Vietnam. It began with irregular domestic and a small fleet. The 2025 summer schedule will include weekly flights from Munich to and , significantly expanding its offerings. This expansion of routes will enable Vietnam Airlines to reach even more and improve access to key Asian markets.
