Wizz Air resumes flight connection Dortmund – Szymany

Dortmund Airport announced that it will resume flights to Olsztyn-Mazury Airport in Poland starting in October 2025. Wizz Air will offer two flights per week starting October 28, responding to high demand.

The popular flight route between Dortmund Airport and Szymany Airport will resume in autumn 2025. Wizz Air, the well-known airline, will serve this route twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This decision was made due to high demand from passengers who have been asking for a resumption of flights since the suspension. The service, which had been a regular part of Dortmund‘s flight schedule since 2018, was temporarily suspended last spring due to maintenance work on Wizz Air‘s Pratt & Whitney engines. This work resulted in Wizz Air being unable to operate some of its aircraft as planned.
