Embraer offers Gogo Galileo HDX for Phenom 300 customers

Embraer announces the availability of the Gogo Galileo HDX connectivity solution for Phenom 300 customers in the aftermarket. Through a partnership with Gogo, a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) will be issued to ensure high-performance in-flight connectivity. The system leverages the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO satellite network for fast and reliable service.

Embraer has chosen to make the Gogo Galileo HDX connectivity solution available to Phenom 300 aircraft owners. This decision, made in partnership with Gogo, ushers in a new era of in-flight connectivity. By installing a compact half-duplex antenna and a Line Replaceable Unit, passengers can enjoy a connectivity experience with 4K streaming and high-quality video calls that rivals ground-based solutions.

Performance at the highest level in flight

The implemented technology promises connectivity comparable in performance to both home and office-based internet connections. Users not only enjoy high speeds for online gaming and large file transfers, but also benefit from unparalleled reliability. The system relies on the advanced Eutelsat OneWeb network, which enables a stable communications connection even at high altitudes.

Partner and cooking time for the solution

According to Marsha Woelber of Embraer Services & Support, the goal is to continuously improve the flight experience using the best available resources. Michael Skou-Christensen of Gogo adds that the HDX antenna was specifically designed for business aviation applications. This solution will initially be available for the Phenom 300 model, with availability varying by region. FAA certification is expected in the third quarter of 2025.

Future expansions

In addition to the initial plans, the availability of the solution will be expanded to other configurations. The solution will also be available for the Phenom 300E model at a later date, with more specific dates to be announced.
