New fees apply to the airports DTM, PAD, and FMO. FMO will see its fees reduced. A monitoring system for fee developments has been agreed upon for all airports, which will also include a review of the projected consumption of control hours.

During this year’s transparency talks of the Münster district government, the air security fees for 2023 for the three Westphalian airports Dortmund, Paderborn and Münster/Osnabrück were calculated.

For Münster/Osnabrück, the calculated fee could be reduced to €12.10 (previously: €12.67; -4.5 percent). For Paderborn, €11.18 was calculated (previously: €10.56; +5.9 percent), and for Dortmund, €6.67 (previously: €6.55; +1.8 percent). Compared to the original plan for Dortmund, the fee was reduced by four cents. The Federal Ministry of the Interior will publish the aviation security fees.
