Learjet: In just a few months, the G5000 avionics suite will be delivered as standard equipment on the newest aircraft in the family, the Learjet 75 Liberty. The Learjet 75 Liberty is scheduled to enter service for the first time in the middle of the year. Effective immediately, other Learjet models will also be equipped with this new cockpit technology. A retrofit option for older Learjet 70 and Learjet 75 aircraft currently in service is expected to become available very soon.

Avionics for improved flight performance

The Garmin G5000 avionics suite relieves the pilot of additional tasks; it is designed to accelerate takeoff and landing calculations, as well as navigation during climb, descent, and cruise phases. FANS 1/A+ is available as an option, providing access to efficient and preferred routes. Furthermore, the system offers connectivity and interoperability with avionics-related applications. Bombardier markets the Learjet 75 Liberty as having operating costs comparable to those of light business jets from competitors, while boasting the largest cabin, highest speed, quietest cruise flight, and longest range.
