ALPEN AIR modernizes its fleet with Cessna T206H and 182T

The Augsburg-based ALPEN AIR has renewed its fleet with the more versatile T206H. This decision was made to better meet customer needs and offer greater booking flexibility. The renewal was accompanied by safety and comfort improvements designed to make the travel experience even more enjoyable.

Fleet change for more flexibility

ALPEN AIR has replaced its previous model, the nine-seat Tecnam P2012, with the smaller but more flexible T206H. Co-founder and Managing Director Moritz Reuter explains that the new aircraft allows them to better meet customer needs. Families, in particular, prefer bookings that offer a more personalized experience. The Cessna T206H allows for cost-effective short-term bookings for single travelers or couples and has already witnessed several marriage proposals on board.

New Cessna aircraft for the peak season

For the upcoming peak season, ALPEN AIR plans to add another aircraft, a Cessna 182T. Managing Director Simon Ambrosius emphasizes that this expansion will ensure sufficient capacity even during peak demand. Both new aircraft are extremely advanced and exceed legal requirements. Safety features include a collision warning system and a ground proximity system.

Focus on safety and comfort

Moritz Reuter emphasizes that safety is the highest priority. should feel completely comfortable, not least through measures such as all-weather instrument equipment. New routes through more flexible fleet

With the new fleet, ALPEN AIR can now also fly to smaller airports, something that was previously impossible with Tecnam. This expands the service to airports such as Landshut, Leutkirch, and Straubing. Simon Ambrosius is pleased that previously unfulfilled requests can now be met. The aircraft has been in regular service with ALPEN AIR since April, and visitors to the AERO air show in Friedrichshafen were able to book seats on exclusive Lake Constance sightseeing flights.
