During a 96-month inspection of an Embraer Legacy 650, RUAG MRO International additionally integrated the ADS-B avionics upgrade and ensured the completion of applicable Service Bulletins.
RUAG’s authorized Embraer Service Center in Oberpfaffenhofen, near Munich, provided project management and one-stop-shop solutions. This one-stop-shop approach to aircraft maintenance enables aircraft owners to optimize downtime, thereby saving both time and money. Owners of Embraer Legacy aircraft were able to utilize the downtime required for the 96-month inspection to equip their aircraft with the necessary ADS-B Out upgrade, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) that are set to enter into force on June 7, 2020.
