Pegasus Airlines strengthens fleet with Boeing 737-10

Pegasus Airlines is expanding its fleet with the introduction of 200 new Boeing 737-10 jets. This decision underlines the airline‘s commitment to expansion and sustainability in line with its growth objectives in Turkey and international markets.

Fleet expansion to support growth

Pegasus Airlines has announced the acquisition of 200 Boeing 737-10 aircraft. The first 100 aircraft are firm orders, while the remainder are held as options to eventually be converted to firm orders depending on market conditions and fleet needs. This strategic decision aims to expand the airline‘s presence both in Turkey and worldwide. The 737-10 offers space for up to 230 passengers and a range of up to 5,740 km and will significantly increase the flexibility and efficiency of the existing fleet.

Since Pegasus Airlines was founded in 1990, Boeing aircraft have been an integral part of its fleet. This new order reaffirms the airline‘s long-standing trust in Boeing. Stephanie Pope, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, expressed her delight in the continued partnership, noting that the 737-10 will provide customers with greater efficiency and reliability. This modern fleet will allow Pegasus to strengthen its regional presence and enter new markets in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
