From November 17th to 20th, 2025, DRF Maintenance and DRF Akademie will showcase their range of services at their joint stand at the international helicopter trade fair European Rotors in Cologne.
Under the motto “One stop. Double boost. – Maintain and Train”, the companies belonging to DRF Luftrettung demonstrate how technical maintenance and professional training can be combined into a holistic offering – with double the added value for helicopter fleet operators.
“With our joint presence at European Rotors 2025, we are demonstrating how maintenance and training work together to sustainably strengthen the operation of helicopter fleets. DRF Maintenance ensures the upkeep and technical readiness of the aircraft, while the DRF Academy optimally prepares the crews with practical training. The result: greater efficiency, greater safety – a double benefit for helicopter fleet operators,” explains Hendrik Schubien, Managing Director of DRF Maintenance.
Interested visitors are invited to contact experts from DRF Maintenance and the DRF Academy at the exhibition stand and learn more about DRF Maintenance’s reliable maintenance and repair solutions as well as the comprehensive training program offered by the DRF Academy.
“Our goal is to strengthen flight and medical crews and technicians and equip them with the necessary know-how. With our diverse training program, including in the areas of technology, medicine and flight operations, as well as modern infrastructure, such as the hoistAR® winch simulator and the Level D full flight simulator we use, we create the basis for operational safety and maximum readiness,” explains Florian Rabe, Managing Director of the DRF Academy.
Wide range of services to meet all requirements
DRF Maintenance is a certified maintenance organization. Its range of services includes line and base maintenance, specialized workshops, and individual modifications. In addition to comprehensive EASA approvals for maintenance and CAMO services, it offers services from the DRF Luftrettung’s Part-21 J and G development organization, which develops and implements approved modifications for helicopters. DRF Maintenance’s portfolio also includes solutions ranging from standardized maintenance services to customized technical adaptations for numerous models, including the H155, EC155, H145, EC145, H135, and EC135.
Greater flexibility through expertise
The DRF Academy, part of DRF Luftrettung (German Air Rescue), is an experienced partner for practical training. Its offerings range from CPL(H) training with ATPL theory, through type ratings and technical training in Part-147 operations, to medical continuing education and CRM training. State-of-the-art infrastructure, such as the Level D Full Flight Simulator for H145/H135 from LAT Lufthansa Aviation and Training in Frankfurt and the mobile hoistAR® winch simulator, enables realistic scenarios. All courses are conducted by experienced instructors with decades of operational experience in air rescue and aviation.
