Corendon Airlines looks back on two decades of successful operations. The airline, which operated its first flight from Eindhoven to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen in 2005, has established itself with around 10 million passengers per year. CEO Yildiray Karaer highlights the continued growth from humble beginnings with just two machines.

Strategic growth in Europe

has strengthened its presence, particularly in German-speaking countries, with extensive schedules from , and . The first took off from a German (Paderborn-) on April 10, 2006 and has since launched almost 55,000 . It has set up four bases within Germany, including Cologne- Airport on May 1, 2019 and Düsseldorf at the end of June 2021. These strategic moves illustrate the importance of the German-speaking market for the company.

Corendon Airlines focuses on German-speaking countries

Christian Hein, Head of Sales & Marketing at Corendon , explains that the German-speaking region is the most important source market for the airline. These markets are being served specifically by putting bases into operation and opening up smaller airports. In the summer of 2025 alone, Corendon Airlines plans to fly from over 20 airports in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, more than any other airline in these regions.

Expansion in Great Britain and other markets

In addition to German-speaking countries, Corendon Airlines has established itself in countries such as Belgium, the and as well as in Great Britain. The airline flights to Antalya and from cities such as , Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. The collaboration with leading tour operators and agencies underlines Corendon Airlines’ strong market position in .

Aircraft fleet and airport coverage

The airline operates a of 31 aircraft, including -800 and 737-800 MAX, registered in Malta, Turkey and the Netherlands. With flights from over 50 airports, Corendon Airlines stands out in Europe. This allows for broad coverage of popular holiday such as Turkey, , , and Morocco.
