Certificate as recognition
During the ceremony, Mr. Tamarit-Degenhardt presented a certificate to the representatives of the Austrian Armed Forces. He emphasized the achievements in terms of professionalism and safety, which are crucial to the success of the Austrian Air Force and Eurofighter cooperation.
Long-standing partnership between Eurofighter and the Austrian Air Force
The partnership between Eurofighter and the Austrian Air Force began in July 2007. Over the years, 15 aircraft have been delivered, which now permanently monitor Austrian airspace. Thanks to Eurofighter’s logistical and operational support, the aircraft’s operational readiness remains at a high level.
Innovations in pilot training
In addition to its operational activities, Eurofighter operates a full-mission simulator at the Zeltweg site, which is essential for pilot training. A second simulator is planned, which will further increase training capacity and significantly enhance pilot skills.
