Dortmund Airport switches everything to summer operations

With the time change on March 30, Dortmund Airport is not only adjusting its clocks but also its flight schedules for summer operations. Passengers can look forward to a total of 35 destinations in 19 countries, offering a wide range of options for enjoying the warmer season.

Pegasus Airlines expands route network from Dortmund Airport

On April 15, Pegasus Airlines will launch its first expansion of the season, adding Antalya to its flight schedule from Dortmund. With up to five weekly flights, it will be easier for vacationers to explore the Turkish Riviera. The metropolis of Istanbul, with its population of one million, will also remain a constant destination in the Pegasus route network.

Wizz Air with the largest offer

With 26 destinations, Wizz Air offers the largest selection of flights from Dortmund this season. Beach vacationers can look forward to destinations such as Gdansk on the Baltic Sea, Ohrid on Lake Ohrid, and Varna on the Black Sea coast. New to the schedule is Warsaw, which will be served five times a week starting June 8. Frequencies to Katowice will also be increased in June.

Increasing demand for sunny destinations

Starting in May, Condor will increase its frequency to Palma de Mallorca, so the island will appear daily in its flight schedule. At the same time, Eurowings is bringing back four popular destinations from its winter break: Thessaloniki, Kavala, Catania, and Split, which will be available again. Travelers will thus have a variety of sunny vacation destinations to choose from.

Late night check-in at Eurowings

With the start of the summer flight schedule, Eurowings is once again offering its late-night check-in service. For a fee, passengers can drop off their baggage the evening before between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, provided their flight departs by 12:00 PM the following morning. This significantly improves convenience for travelers.
