SunExpress offers direct flights from Leipzig to the Black Sea

SunExpress Airlines announces new direct flights from Leipzig/Halle to Bulgaria. Starting mid-May, travelers can book direct flights to the popular destinations of Varna and Burgas, operated by Electra Airways. This expansion significantly expands the flight offerings at Leipzig/Halle Airport.

New routes for the summer

SunExpress has announced new direct flights from Leipzig/Halle to Varna and Burgas starting May 16 and 17, respectively. These flights expand the region’s attractive summer travel offerings. Varna will be served three times a week, while Burgas will debut two days later. The airline will operate Airbus A320 aircraft, which will be specially deployed for the period from May to September. This strategic decision aims to meet demand for Black Sea holiday destinations.

Cooperation with Electra Airways

In a significant collaboration, Electra Airways will operate the new flight connections. Electra Airways, a new presence at Leipzig Airport, will thus become an integral part of the expanded flight options. This collaboration not only enables a smooth integration but also significantly expands the capacity of Leipzig/Halle Airport. The partnership contributes to the further expansion of SunExpress’s network in Germany.
